Beetroot Juice 

I love morning smoothies and juices, it really sets me up for their day and feels good knowing I’ve consumed so much goodness in one sitting! 

Beetroot is such a an incredible food, it’s high in nitrates which in turn helps to lower blood pressure, it’s also a great source of iron and folate which are important in their creation of red blood cells. Plus if you’re looking for foods to fuel your workout, grate some beet on your salad or have a glass of beet juice, beetroot is full of nutrients that help the delivery of oxygen to the muscles during your workout – How’s that for a superfood!

  • 2 green apples
  • 2 pears
  • 2 small carrots
  • 1 fresh beetroot


  1. Peel the beetroot, and add to the juicer along with the rest of the fruit and vegetables.
  2. One it’s all juiced, pop in a glass & enjoy!

Top tip 

If you prefer an earthy taste, juice the beetroot with the skin on.
